There are several different model trims available for the 2016 Honda CR-V. The entry level trim is the 2WD LX. This automatic, front wheel drive SUV uses an I-4 2.4 L/144 engine that produces 185 horsepower and 181 pound feet of torque.

The compact SUV does feature a sun/moon roof on upgraded models. With top models you can also include running boards and a rear spoiler. A trailer hitch receiver is an available option, with a maximum trailering capacity of 1500 pounds. Privacy glass comes standard on the Honda CR-V.

On the inside of the Honda CR-V, you’ll find an alarm, cruise control, power lift gate, keyless entry, back-up camera, vehicle anti-theft system, auto-off headlights, keyless start and heated mirrors. As for entertainment, you will receive an AM/FM stereo, CD player, MP3 player and AUX input. Upper tier trim models include an HD radio and satellite radio as well as a navigation system. All models feature wireless cell phone hookup. You have the option of upgrading models to include a luggage rack and rear parking aid (designed to integrate along with the back-up camera in your compact SUV).

Safety is an important feature with the 2016 Honda CR-V. That is why all models come with the same basic safety features, including driver, side head, side, passenger and rear head air bags. Four wheel ABS and four wheel disc brakes also come standard. You’ll receive brake assist, daytime running lights, electronic stability control, traction control and child safety locks. Upgraded models feature integrated turn signal mirrors.
