2015 Honda Pilot
If you are looking for a midsize SUV that is not going to break the bank and still gives some nice fuel economy numbers, the 2015 Honda Pilot might just be the vehicle for you. And with three rows of seats, you can transport your entire family to any destination, regardless of where you are going or what you are doing.
As is custom with most Honda vehicles, there are well over two dozen different trim packages. This way, you can find the one that is right for you without paying for features you do not want or need. The entry level 2015 Honda Pilot is the 2WD LX. This is an automatic, front wheel drive SUV that comes with a regular unleaded V-6 3.5 L/212 engine that can produce 250 horsepower and 253 pound feet of torque. The top of the line trim model does also come with the exact same engine, only it has a four wheel drive option.
The 2015 Honda Pilot does come with a trailer hitch that gives you a maximum trailering capacity of up to 4,500 pounds, which is a good amount for most medium to small sized boats or trailers, making this a perfect camping vehicle. It also comes with a power tilt and sliding sunroof, should you go with one of the upgraded trim packages. On the inside of the vehicle, it comes with an alarm, cruise control, power lift gate, heated mirrors, back-up camera, vehicle anti-theft system, auto-off headlights, rear parking aid and keyless entry. There is also the ability to upgrade your vehicle to include interior cargo shades, a luggage rack, keyless start and remote engine start.
In terms of the entertainment, the 2015 Honda Pilot comes with an AM/FM stereo, CD player, MP3 player, AUX input jack and rear seat audio controls. You can also upgrade the vehicle to include a hard disk drive for local file storage, satellite radio and a DVD entertainment system. Plus, the advanced tim models come with a built in navigation system.
In terms of safety, the 2015 Honda Pilot comes standard with driver, side head, side, passenger and rear head air bags, plus four-wheel ABS and disc brakes. This comes on top of brake assist, traction control and the electronic stability control.
