2025 Honda HR-V vs 2025 Honda CR-V
Serving Streetsboro, OH
The HR-V and the CR-V are the first two crossover SUVs in Honda’s 2025 lineup. Both the subcompact HR-V and the compact CR-V are unchanged for the 2025 model, and they have impressive traits and individuality that could place them at the top of your list. What should you know about these Honda crossovers before finalizing your selection?
Performance
The 2025 Honda HR-V is offered in three trims; they all have the same performance equipment and capabilities. This crossover is outfitted with a 158-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. It comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission. While front-wheel drive is standard, all trims are available with all-wheel drive. The 2025 Honda CR-V, on the other hand, has two powertrain systems available across its six trims. The entry-level system is a 190-horsepower, turbo, 1.5-liter, four-cylinder engine. A 204-horsepower, four-cylinder hybrid engine is also offered. All trims have a CVT. Most also have standard front-wheel drive, but the CR-V Sport has standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The HR-V has a small, sporty design with an arched profile and powerful, angled contours through the door panels. The five-spoke wheels combine with modest, black body molding to complete the look from the sides. At the front, the 2025 HR-V shows off a rounded nose, minimized air inlets, a small grille, and wide headlights that trend into a point. In comparison, the CR-V has broader dimensions and a taller roof. The side molding is slightly raised, and the sides are smoothly accentuated. The nose displays comparable air inlets, and the black lower fascia is well-defined. The large grille makes a statement with its woven mesh pattern, and they connect to the long, slender LED lights.
Features
You can enjoy many modern features across both of these 2025 Honda models. Some features available in both models are leather upholstery, parking sensors, a wireless charging pad, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a dual-zone auto climate control system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, heated front seats, remote engine start, a blind-spot warning, road sign assist, lane centering, lane departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, auto emergency braking, USB ports, and others. If you opt for the 2025 CR-V, your Honda crossover may also have ambient cabin lights, a hands-free liftgate, a 12-speaker Bose sound system, a heated steering wheel, driver’s memory controls, and other equipment.
